"MzLeadinG" (as in misleading, spelt with a "z" so you can find us on Google!) are an established, experienced covers band from Gloucestershire. A 5 piece band of talented musicians, with both male and female vocals, offering diversity and versatility.

Accurate covers with up to 3 vocal harmonies, covering a wide range of musical genres and styles: Classics, favourites, rock, pop, dance, sing-alongs, anthems - the aim being to create top quality musical entertainment for people to enjoy, day or night.

Rich's grandmother graduated from RADA (Royal Academy Dramatic Arts) in London and his mother was a trained singer, so his passion for music  started at a very young age. First singing in Ledbury church choir whilst at Junior school. Then experimenting with violin, piano,  and guitar, but eventually found his calling on bass guitar. Self taught, at the grand old age of 20!

Moved to Coleford in May 2000 where he played bass for 'Steel Fingers' - a 7 piece rock covers band from Coleford.

Co-founder of MzLeadinG, manager and general dogsbody for the rest of the band!

Luckily for us, not only has Simon recently returned to the uk following 20 years in the USA, but he also chose to live down the road from us in Coleford.

He had been playing guitar and harmony vocals in a resident Beetles covers band for the last 8 years, where they played 3 sets a day Friday to Sunday. So for him a 3 hour set is just the warm up!

Music is his passion and playing live a must - "Anytime anywhere!"

Judy moved to Coleford in May 2000 and is the Co-founder of MzLeadinG.

She played keyboard and sang the lead female vocals and backing harmonies with Rich, doing a mixture of original material and cover songs in there band 'MrMeanour' in the 1990's. Based out of Worcester, they wrote there own songs and recorded them in Merlin Studios in Malvern.

No she is not the "Ms" in "MzLeadinG" (...or is she?!) .

50 years ago, armed with a catalogue folk guitar and a copy of Pete Seeger's how to play guide, John hit the road to a lifelong love of playing. From cabaret bands such as Nova, entertaining the pubs and clubs of South Wales, to rock and blues in Gloucestershire with Still Crazy, Straight Torque, The Road Snakes, and TT Twisters, he just loves to play!

Outside of music, John can be found saving the world, one delivery at time, in his yellow van. And when the weather permits (yes, a fair weather biker) taking his (also yellow) Harley out for a spin.

MzTimE

Keith, our very talented drummer, has been playing drums since childhood - brass band / orchestra. He has played with a multitude of bands including; Alien Stash Tin, Onslaught, Ultraviolet (from Chepstow), TT Twisters, Spiral Planet and more recently with Pink Mac and The Hustle.

Keith is a true family man who embraces his love of the out doors, especially with his other passions photography and rock festivals.
